M&S Consulting is seeking an experienced Oracle Reports Developer with expertise in Oracle Forms and Reports to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Application Server and Oracle Developer Suite. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex reports and integrations to support our HCM system. This is a hybrid position and may require candidate to work at client site in Washington, DC.
Job Requirements:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Forms and Reports to provide custom solutions for various customer needs
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL code, procedures, functions, and queries
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues existing in Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL code
- Design and implement scalable database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences
- Perform database tuning or Oracle database queries and code to ensure high system efficiency
- Experience with Oracle Application Server and Oracle Developer Suite
- Document technical specifications and user guides for all systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or Oracle APEX
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket (or similar platforms such as GIT, SVN)
- Experience with project management tools like Jira, including ticket creation, issue tracking, and sprint planning
