Location: United States or Canada (Remote)
Experience: 5+ years in partner sales, business development, or a similar role, with a focus on API and data sales.
As a Partner Account Executive, API Resellers at Apollo, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our API reseller partnerships. Your primary focus will be sourcing, qualifying, and selling API reseller contracts to drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals. Reporting to the Principal Technology Partnerships Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success of both Apollo and its reseller partners. Key Responsibilities
- Partner Acquisition: Identify, source, qualify, onboard, and expand API reseller partnerships
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations of API reseller contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with company policies.
- Revenue Accountability: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Partner Compliance & Auditing: Regularly monitor and audit signed partners to ensure they adhere to contract terms, branding guidelines, and Apollo’s quality standards. Address any compliance issues proactively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to support partner initiatives and drive mutual success.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with reseller partners, understanding their business needs and aligning them with Apollo’s offerings.
- Sales Enablement: Equip partners with the necessary tools and support to effectively build and launch data integrations via Apollo’s APIs.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze partner performance metrics to ensure alignment with sales goals and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in partner sales, business development, or a similar role, with a focus on API and data sales.
- B2B Data Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience in the B2B data landscape, including market trends, key players, and data-driven sales strategies.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of APIs and data integration, with the ability to discuss technical concepts with partners.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with external stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
