Founded in 2020, Enode builds APIs that connect users’ energy devices—like EVs, solar inverters, home batteries, and thermostats—to third-party applications. Our platform lets apps access data from these devices and control them using our algorithms. This helps reduce the cost and complexity of building energy management apps, helping the world move to a sustainable energy system.

We offer three main capabilities:

• Connect: A single API integrates over 1000 energy devices from more than 80 brands. We provide SDKs and ready-built connection flows.
• Optimize: We provide smart charging APIs, statistics, and insights APIs for smart energy use cases, along with endpoints for custom features.
• Flex: We aggregate residential devices into flexible, virtual power plants. This includes real-time control of aggregated flexible load with 36-hour forward visibility, tools to adjust load across settlement periods, and a dashboard with APIs for energy management system integration.

Our solutions are used for smart charging, energy management and insights, demand response, and e-mobility. We work with energy retailers, energy startups, e-mobility providers, DERMS, EV fleet managers, utility and grid owners, and smart home providers.
