At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Payment Operations has an integral role in our Global Payments Department. We’re responsible for the daily operations of our payment acceptance and payout functions, that powers billions in annual GPV. This team ensures that customers are able to seamlessly pay for their goods and services on GoDaddy.com by managing and optimizing payment acceptance processes. The team drives bottom line impact by analyzing and summarizing transaction data, advising on and coordinating payment acceptance related projects, finding opportunities for metric improvement, collaborating with development teams to facilitate in-depth end-to-end testing for all experimentation and optimizations, and managing relationships with third party vendors.
What you’ll get to do…
- Mentor a high-performance team, and drive cross-functional payment initiatives.
- Manage key external partnerships to set new standards in recurring billing, payment routing, and performance optimization.
- You’ll help lead global programs to improve payment acceptance and reduce costs, collaborate across analytics, product, and engineering, and develop automated reporting and monitoring tools.
- The role also involves managing vendor relationships, designing and executing payment routing experiments, and leading robust QA and troubleshooting efforts.
- You’ll regularly communicate insights and results to senior leadership and proactively recommend strategies to ensure GoDaddy is driving world-class payment processing performance.
Your experience should include…
- 5+ years in operations, analytics, or related functions, with experience leading high-impact projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience extracting data and metrics to visualize findings, determine and drive improvements.
- 3+ years experience managing vendor relationships.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills to produce complex analysis and leadership level reporting.
You might also have…
- Experience in the payments industry with proven experience optimizing approval rates, costs, and/or other payment metrics related to transaction acceptance for digital and physical goods from the lens of an e-commerce merchant, Acquirer, or scheme.
- Experience with corporate Accounting standards.
