Job Description
You will directly report to the Turkey Managing Director (with a dotted line to the Regional People Director based in France). You will bring your expertise in all HR related matters including, but not limited to colleague on-boarding, continuous professional development and disciplinary matters as and when required. Whilst dedicated to the Turkey team, you will be part of the Global People Team in a post integration context.
Scope: Believe Turkey (60 people)
This is a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave with start date as soon as possible.
Your duties will include:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support these goals, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the overall business strategy, in collaboration with central HR experts (C&B , Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, CSR & Engagement , HR Ops etc..)
You will manage two team members: a Junior HR Business Partner and an Office Manager, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with HR and workplace priorities.
Be a trusted advisor, providing expert HR guidance and support to operational managers, including development, progression and succession planning, performance and salary reviews, amongst others.
Act as the first point of contact for most employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to both managers and employees. Investigate and resolve employee conflicts and disciplinary matters, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and legal requirements.
Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition expert to develop effective recruitment strategies and drive the process, including job description development and onboarding.
Develop and implement local retention strategies to attract and retain high-performing employees.
Collaborate with management to implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and employee development plans. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters, including coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions.
Collaborate with the compensation and benefits team to develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits strategies for Turkey. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation-related matters, including salary benchmarking, performance-based pay, and benefits administration.
Identify training and development needs within the organisation and develop strategies to reflect and rectify this. Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans for employees and support their career progression.
Collaborate with international counterparts on HR projects.
Stay up to date with changes in legislation and regulations and recommend necessary updates to HR policies and practices.
Work with leaders and managers to define and articulate local desired strategic culture. Develop and maintain initiatives to promote and reinforce the desired culture and drive cultural change through effective communication, training, and change management strategies.
Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture. Develop feedback mechanisms to gauge employee engagement and identify areas for improvement and drive employee involvement. Collaborate with leaders to address engagement gaps and implement action plans.
Ensure regular reporting to the Central People Team via OKRs.
Support organisational change initiatives by providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop change management strategies and plans, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Provide HR support throughout the post-integration process to ensure a smooth organizational transition and alignment of people, culture, and processes.
Actively contribute to the company’s CSR initiatives, supporting projects aligned with our values of inclusion, diversity, and sustainability
Qualifications
You must have a minimum of 10 years of successful experience as HRBP/HR generalist where you had full responsibility of your perimeter, ideally in the consulting or client services industry, within a strong client-oriented culture.
You have a good local legal/compliance background
You have experience developing relationships with leadership teams and influencing decisions made by executive/senior management teams you work with.
Your good business acumen helps you align people strategy to the business goals of the teams in your scope.
You have worked in international contexts, such as in an affiliate reporting to international HQ, or in a multinational company.
An experience in a post-integration environment is a plus for this role
You have had the chance to support various teams simultaneously, within fast-growing environments, and demonstrated agility in priority management.
You still want to have hands-on day-to-day tasks.
The knowledge of Workday as HRIS is a plus.
