As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our fantastic HR Shared Services Team.

The People Operations Specialist will provide support to Precision’s employees, managers and HR Business Partners within a shared services model as we stand up our new regional HR Shared Services Centre team. This role will be part of a broader People Operations team across multiple geographic regions, responsible for managing HR transactions and processes and providing support for HR inquiries from employees and other stakeholders.  This role works under the direction of the Senior Manager, People Operations & Shared Services based in the United States, as part of the global People Operations and HR Shared Services team. The role will coordinate with HR resources across the globe to ensure HR service and delivery is consistent and timely.

Essential Functions of the job include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for accurate data entry into HRIS system for various transactions including but not limited to new hire set up, personnel changes for pay, promotion, status, hours, and out processing of leavers
  • Complete HR processes and transactions in a timely manner in HRIS system
  • Creation of memorandums to accompany various HR data changes, distribute to appropriate parties, collection of memos and file into personnel files to maintain compliance
  • Creation of employment agreements as required
  • Assist with the coordination employment related data needed by payroll teams in order to accurately process payroll through multiple local vendors.
  • Provide timely support to HR Business Partners, Compliance and other areas of HR during audits by reviewing information, retrieving files or documents and compiling necessary data
  • Answer inquiries and questions from employees, managers and HR Business Partners and resolve issues or direct inquiries to the appropriate department/point of contact
  • Display working knowledge and understanding of the HR policies and processes to answer employee questions
  • Aid employees and managers in the navigation of our HR self-service resources and tools
  • Display confidentiality and protection of personnel data and information throughout all duties and assignments
  • Assist in special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred
  • 1-3 years’ HR experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred with emphasis on HR operations/shared services and process, data entry/audit
  • HR ticketing system experience is preferred
  • Prior experience with HCM or HRIS systems such as SAP Successfactors, ADP, Greenhouse
  • Bi-lingual with primary language as English but secondary language German, Polish, Hungarian, Spanish or Italian preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail for data integrity management
  • Ability to manage several simultaneous tasks and competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Advanced proficiency preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in processing workflow, transactions and data changes in an HRIS system
