JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the Network Team recruiting efforts, the physician onboarding process, including the physician agreement (DocuSign) process and initiating credentialing, maintenance of physician profiles, negotiating costs and terms with physicians within pre-established guidelines, coordinating exam space, and answering and assisting callers for Network team calls.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Physician Onboarding Process

  • Coordinating with the Network (recruiting) team and composing Dane Street agreements and paperwork for each onboarding doctor, issuing for signature via DocuSign, logging and monitoring for completion
  • Initiating credentialing tickets, logging, and monitoring for profile completion
  • Thorough review of physician profiles for accuracy and completeness

Physician Panel Maintenance

  • Responsible for physician panel updates and, when necessary, securing updated documents, applications, and agreements.

Physician Training Coordination

  • Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, logging, and reporting on the training of new physician panel members
  • Providing dictation/AccessDS instructions and assisting with related inquiries
  • Assisting physicians with inquiries and coordinating with all departments to provide responses

Exam Location Space

  • Responsible for sourcing, procuring, scheduling, and exam location space
  • Maintaining a database of available locations and resources
  • Coordinating with finance/accounting to ensure vendor set up, maintenance, and payment terms for exam location vendors

Network Department Calls

  • Responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting callers, and routing calls to the appropriate department/team member

  • Negotiate fees and volumes with reviewers as necessary to fulfill organizational and client requirements.

  • Collaborate with reviewers to enhance peer engagement rates, ensuring active and productive participation.

Act as a physician liaison by assisting with:

  • Payment inquiries

  • Addressing panel or system-related questions,

  • Providing training clarifications, managing changes

  • IT-related issues to guarantee an uninterrupted reviewer experience and support

  • Designating physicians as Out-of-Office to indicate unavailability

  • Compile and maintain specialty/client sub-panels customized to meet coverage needs.

Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

JOB-RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Physician recruitment experience in a Healthcare/Insurance setting or equivalent transferable skill set.

Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and terminology. Strong negotiation skills, communication skills, critical thinking, organizational skills, ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines. Computer literacy and typing skills are required.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.

WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Supply and support their internet services.

Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work-from-home positions.
