Job description

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

As a member of the SeatGeekIQ Operations team, you’ll be a trusted thought partner - making an impact by supporting the organization with sound operational & financial decision making. You’ll play a critical role in the execution of SeatGeekIQ’s pricing services. You will work closely with the trading and quantitative research team to manage and maintain portfolios.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and a problem solver, looking to merge their passion for live events and entertainment with their financial acumen in order to make a big impact for SeatGeek partners and clients.  You must have a love of sports and music and have the ability to adapt in a flowing team environment.  In addition to possessing the financial mind needed to execute on the day-to-day, you will need to demonstrate a creative approach in the development of proprietary tools.

What you’ll do

  • Independently execute daily management (ingesting new inventory, monitoring existing positions, and coordinating execution) of portfolios on both Primary and Secondary markets
  • Manage any upstream issues that are surfaced by CX/BX with respect to any SeatGeekIQ managed tickets (Buyback/Fraud/Direct Inventory/etc.) including maintaining, guiding, and setting expectations with CX regarding ticket transfer policies and communicating with rev ops on refund processing
  • Deal on a daily basis with any downstream issues that are surfaced by BX/DTI/Uploader with resold inventory such as upgrade orders, broken or unfulfilled orders, or other errors
  • Maintain our set of 30+ accounts that we sell inventory out of and accept inventory to. This includes set up on uploader, transfer within accounts, resolving ticket type issues, and creation of any new accounts
  • Follow the Flex/Buyback process by manually tracking all tickets that are not managed or partially managed by the team through our SAPIENT tool including ticket confirmation, relisting, and inputting sales
  • Execute SeatGeekIQ processes related to our business, finance, and inventory workflows
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve daily operations processes
  • Collaborate with other internal teams and external vendors to resolve any portfolio discrepancies
  • Ensure healthy and efficient SeatGeekIQ operations and supporting SeatGeekIQ’s performance against core KPIs
  • In the long term - improve existing processes and scale the number of tickets the Ops team can manage as well as manage a team of Ops members and make key decisions with financial impact to the portfolios

What you have

  • 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or general Operations role preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Desire to innovate and automate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Passion for sports, music, and live events in general
  • BS/BA Required
  • Ticketing operations experience preferred

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Student loan support resources
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services
  • Gender-affirming care support program
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
