We are an independent flexibility services provider, offering Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions and demand-side services. We help accelerate the energy transition and provide value to customers by enabling energy stakeholders, like asset developers and industrial energy users, to monetize flexibility across balancing, wholesale, and ancillary markets. We manage over 3 GW of flexible assets, with nearly a decade of experience optimizing them in European energy markets.

We provide multi-market BESS optimization, end-to-end pre-qualification support, and operational services. Our approach includes algorithmic trading, a ²⁴⁄₇ trading desk with human oversight, and advanced platform capabilities for multi-market revenue stacking. We also offer bespoke modeling and business case development, and support seamless integration with co-located renewable portfolios. Our AI-powered platform uses machine learning for forecasting and trading to manage assets, maximize revenue, and preserve battery health.

Our business model involves the Transmission System Operator (TSO) compensating participants for demand response and flexibility services. The TSO pays us, and we then pass revenue to customers, retaining a share. We operate across ten European countries, focusing on local regulations and market requirements. Sympower was founded in 2015.
