As a Product and Design Intern at Nauto you will…
- Design and ship polished product features for both web and mobile that balance vision, craft, speed, and business value
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering to bring your ideas to life
- Engage in user research to better understand our users and refine our products
- Contribute to and evolve our design system
- Rapidly prototype ideas using figma, code, and other methods to communicate concepts internally and with users
- Produce key Product and Design artifacts on both the research side (personas, interviews, user-testing) and interaction side (flows, prototypes, design specs)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Applied Math, or a related field; or final year of study in one of these fields.
- Personal passion for product, and a deep intuitive ability to deliver people-centric solutions
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in design craft (visual, interaction, and design systems) across +2 projects
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to explain complex ideas to colleagues
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the principles of product management
- A deep understanding of design systems
- Startup experience, ideally earlier stage companies
- An ability to express ideas through prototyping and code
- Passion for creating meaningful products that resonate emotionally with users
