Job description

We are seeking an ambitious and innovative Product Manager SDK to lead and execute our product strategies during a critical growth phase. As a fast-growing payment orchestration company with a strong presence in the USA and European markets, we aim to scale our brand, build awareness, and attract new merchants while retaining and engaging our existing customers. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and requires a deep understanding of B2B fintech marketing.

Macropay is a fintech leader in payment orchestration, providing businesses with seamless access to global payment solutions for over four years. Specializing in revenue optimization, we offer card processing and alternative payment methods enhanced by smart routing, fraud prevention, and an intuitive dashboard. Backed by a team of payment and fraud experts, our all-in-one platform is designed to maximize revenue, reduce costs, and improve the payment experience—all through a single API integration.

Responsibilities:

SDK Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute the strategy and vision for our suite of payment SDKs (Android, iOS, Web, and Server-side).
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure SDKs are optimized for performance, security, and seamless integration.
  • Develop a product roadmap that aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Ensure SDKs support various payment methods (credit/debit cards, APMs, wallets, Open Banking, BNPL).

Developer Experience & API Design

  • Advocate for an exceptional developer experience, ensuring SDKs are easy to integrate, well-documented, and developer-friendly.
  • Define and improve API architecture, ensuring scalability and reliability in different environments.
  • Gather feedback from merchants, developers, and partners to enhance SDK usability and functionality.
  • Work with UX/UI teams to optimize payment flows within native and web apps.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure SDKs comply with PCI-DSS, PSD2, SCA, GDPR, and other global payment regulations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to implement the latest encryption, tokenization, and fraud prevention technologies.
  • Monitor and improve SDK error handling, transaction logging, and debugging tools.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay updated on emerging trends in mobile payments, in-app payments, and fintech SDK development.
  • Conduct benchmarking against other payment SDK providers to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Identify opportunities for new SDK features, such as one-click payments, biometric authentication, and smart routing.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with merchant developers, PSPs, and acquiring partners to understand integration pain points.

  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure SDKs meet merchant requirements and resolve technical challenges.

  • Provide clear product documentation, changelogs, and guides to educate developers on best practices.

  • Lead webinars, hackathons, and developer community events to drive SDK adoption.

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in SDKs, APIs, fintech, or payments.

  • Strong knowledge of mobile (iOS, Android) and web development frameworks.

  • Experience working with payment processing, card networks, or alternative payment methods.

  • Understanding of developer pain points and ability to craft intuitive, low-friction SDKs.

  • Knowledge of OAuth, authentication protocols, encryption, and security best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize technical and business requirements.

  • Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between developers, business teams, and leadership.

  • Experience in developer relations, open-source communities, or API-first products.

  • Familiarity with multi-currency, cross-border payments, and local payment methods.

  • Background in A/B testing and performance optimization for payment flows.

  • Technical background (Computer Science, Engineering) or ability to read/write code is a plus.

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Opportunity to shape HR strategy for a global, innovative fintech company.

  • Professional development opportunities and resources.

  • A collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic work culture.

  • Full Remote Work.
