Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our Agile organization. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing the features and functionality of one of our SaaS products offered on the web and in our mobile applications.

You will serve as a bridge between the development team and stakeholders to ensure that our products align with business goals and our customer needs.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Sales & Marketing, Operations to understand business needs and translate them into detailed product requirements.

  • End to End Product Ownership: Own and lead product features from its inception to end user experience with focus on delivery on time and quality.

  • Backlog Management: Own, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, and participate in agile product development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives ensuring driving ownership and product delivery.

  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Work with the Director of Product Development in defining a product vision and roadmap in alignment with overall business strategy. Translate business opportunities into tangible product plans.

  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage data insights and analytics to measure product performance, track key metrics, and optimize product development strategy.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to inform product decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with UX/UI designers, engineers, and QA teams to ensure product features are delivered with high quality and on time. Lead sprint planning and review meetings, ensuring that teams have the right information and context to make informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in end to end product management and ownership within a software development environment with a proven track record of successful product delivery.
  • Agile Expertise: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), with experience in leading best practices in Agile teams.
  • Customer Centricity: Demonstrated ability to deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and translate those into actionable product features.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong grasp of software development principles and technologies to interface effectively with engineering teams.

  • Available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls/meetings/chats during weekdays working
  • Quiet workspace, conducive to video meetings & calls
  • Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection; at least 25MBPS.
  • Double monitors preferred but not required (if available)
