VetsEZ is seeking a skilled Project Analyst / Project Manager to support a government IT contract. This role will be part of a team specializing in system network infrastructure and will require close coordination with the government Project Manager and external technical leads to ensure high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination between the contractor team and the government Project Manager.
- Oversee, track, and report on project deliverables and work products to ensure compliance with contract requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with external technical leads and stakeholders to align project objectives and technical solutions.
- Support and implement SAFe/Agile methodologies, including planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reports to both internal and government stakeholders.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Analyst or Project Manager supporting government IT contracts.
- Strong knowledge and experience with system network infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAFe/Agile frameworks and practices.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (existing clearance is a plus).
- PMP, SAFe, or Agile certification is preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.
- Experience working in the federal government IT space.
- Familiarity with VA environment is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
