What are we looking for?
We are looking for a QA Backend Engineer with strong experience in data validation, API testing, and database management. This role requires someone who is meticulous, data-driven, and passionate about ensuring the consistency, reliability, and integrity of large volumes of information.You’ll be part of a high-impact team focused on quality across complex systems that process millions of user interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Solid experience with Postman and REST API testing
- Proven background in backend testing
- Strong SQL skills, including table creation, data validation, and writing complex queries
- Experience working with large datasets and data flows
- Ability to design and execute test plans focused on backend logic and data integrity
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- 3+ years of experience in QA roles, preferably in backend/data environments
- Ability to collaborate with development teams to track down bugs and identify root causes
Nice to have:
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Exposure to data pipelines or ETL processes
- Understanding of microservices architectures
- Background working in high availability or high traffic systems
