BlackStone eIT is seeking a skilled and dynamic Quality Assurance Leader to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Leader, you will have the opportunity to drive quality initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will be responsible for leading the quality assurance team, defining and implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient testing of software products.
Establish quality standards and best practices for software development and testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
Identify, track, and report on key quality metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with test planning, test execution, and defect management.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of QA engineers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
