The Recruiting Manager plays a key leadership role in expanding and maintaining Dane Street’s Physician Panel, with a focus on federal and VA exam services. The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, supervising staff, engaging physicians, and ensuring operational execution.

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiting Manager plays a key leadership role in expanding and maintaining Dane Street’s Physician Panel, with a focus on federal and VA exam services. The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies, supervising staff, engaging physicians, and ensuring operational execution.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Physician Recruitment & Network Expansion

  • Strategically recruit physicians to support operational demand for federal and VA exams.
  • Lead and manage targeted recruitment campaigns using job boards, media, email outreach, and direct sourcing.
  • Secure physician commitment and availability for high-volume exam scheduling in key markets.
  • Negotiate physician pricing to align with business goals and maintain physician satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and coach recruiting staff, providing ongoing training, resources, and performance support.
  • Ensure timely resolution of service requests and effective distribution of sourcing tasks.
  • Monitor staff performance and guide team members toward recruiting goals.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship (mentor)
  • Establish and maintain “Best Practices”

Operational Oversight & Compliance

  • Collaborate with other Dane Street Government Services Teams as needed to ensure timely and accurate onboarding and re-credentialing in compliance with company and federal/VA standards.
  • Manage physician assignments and scheduling to align with client needs and contract requirements.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, sourcing progress, and physician availability.
  • Maintain and support client relationships

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified physicians within targeted price points and geographic locations.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on performance metrics, campaign results, and recruitment forecasts.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives based on business priorities.

Other duties & special projects, as assigned and based on business needs.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

JOB RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.

3+ years of healthcare or physician recruiting experience; experience with federal or VA programs preferred.

1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience

JOB RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Strong knowledge of credentialing and healthcare compliance requirements

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

Proficiency with Google Suite and recruitment tools/ATS platforms

Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage competing priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Any lifting, bending, traveling, etc. required to do the job duties listed above. Long periods of sitting and computer work.

WORK FROM HOME TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Supply and support their own internet services.

Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is a requirement of all work from home position.
