Job description
Navion Senior Living is fundamentally changing when our relationship with families begins. We are launching a first-of-its-kind outreach strategy to connect with seniors and their loved ones long before a move-in is ever considered, offering valuable support, guidance, and access to clinical care coordination programs covered by their existing Medicare benefits.
Weβre looking for a Regional Outreach Specialist to be the driving force and first point of contact for this innovative initiative. This is not a typical sales role. It’s a unique opportunity for a caring and results-oriented individual to build relationships by balancing empathetic listening with clear, value-oriented communication. You will be a true ambassador for the Navion brand, demonstrating our commitment to senior care from the very first conversation.
This is your chance to be at the forefront of the senior living industry as a foundational member of a team proving a new model for deeply meaningful resident and family engagement. Here, your focus is on cultivating real trust, not cold call volume. You will connect people with services that make a real difference in their lives, often at no cost to them, and build a pipeline of trust that establishes Navion as the premier care senior living solution in the region.
If you are motivated with a passion for helping others and a desire to pioneer a new approach in the senior living industry, weβd love to meet you!
Proven experience in a role requiring proactive outreach, such as inside sales, business development (SDR/BDR), community outreach, or admissions.
Exceptional verbal communication skills with an ability to listen with empathy, build rapport quickly, and be respectfully persistent.
A strong internal drive to meet and exceed goals, motivated by the knowledge that each enrollment helps a family in need.
The resilience to handle the challenges to success and the motivation to stay focused on the mission.
A genuine desire to help seniors and their families, with a demonstrable ability to convey compassion and build trust.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a related field.
- A foundational understanding of, or high willingness to learn about, Medicare and care coordination programs for seniors.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role while collaborating closely with the Navion Sales Team, community leaders and care providers.
- Experience in a new or pilot program where processes and scripts were developed and refined over time.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Community Outreach
- Initiate contact with prospective patients and their families through compassionate and thoughtful outreach.
- Develop relationships with local medical providers and community groups to identify prospective patients and their families.
- Ask probing, respectful questions to understand each personβs unique situation, challenges, and needs related to aging and healthcare.
- Clearly explain the benefits of Navion’s outreach programs, starting with the CMS GUIDE model for dementia, and demonstrate how they provide immediate value.
- Master the details of our evolving suite of no or low-cost Medicare care coordination programs.
Drive Program Enrollment and Clinical Handoffs
- Successfully enroll interested individuals by communicating the value and ease of participation.
- Gather preliminary information to verify program eligibility and, when appropriate, conduct brief introductory assessments to understand their needs.
- Facilitate a seamless and warm handoff of enrolled families to our Regional Care Coordination Specialist or in-community Resident Advocacy Director, who will provide the clinical care navigation.
Serve as a Key Strategic Partner
Act as the voice of the market by providing regular feedback and sharing stories from your conversations to Navion leadership and team members.
Help us rapidly iterate and adapt our program offerings based on feedback from seniors and their families.
Champion a new, proactive strategy that is unique in the senior living industry.
Competitive base salary and a performance-based incentive structure tied to successful program enrollment
Comprehensive benefits package, including full medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus an employer-sponsored 401k plan and matching
Professional development support
A chance to transform the lives of senior adults accessing the care they need and deserve
