About the Role:
Voldex is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build backend services for our library of live service games. All of our games have huge potential, and your work will impact the fun of millions of users!
As an engineer at Voldex, you will have the opportunity to partner closely with our highly-skilled team of engineers, product managers, artists, game designers, and more.
While this is an engineering role, we believe good ideas can come from anywhere and encourage everyone to contribute their diverse perspectives to game design discussions!
What You’ll Do:
Make new backend services and maintain existing APIs and infrastructure
Work with a team experienced with building cloud infrastructure serving millions of daily users
Contribute to the development of new in-game features, web services and bug fixes
Write clear, clean, and efficient code
Collaborate with other disciplines (production, design, etc) to define and develop in-game features for current and upcoming titles
What You Bring to the Team:
3+ years professional software development experience
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in computer science or related field
Prior development experience with Golang and Docker
Strong grasp of AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS, EC2, Fargate)
Familiarity with Node.js, VueJS and NextJS
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ownership mentality
