Title: SaaS Business Development Representative (BDR)

Type: Full-Time (Exempt)

What You’ll Do Here:

Under minimal supervision, the Business Development Representative will act as a critical touchpoint in the sales cycle for any and all marketing leads to drive booked demos and completed demos.

  • Conduct continuous outreach to a targeted lists of prospects from our Marketing Contacts
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities to book demos
  • Present our our value proposition in a clear, professional, concise and compelling manner to potential clients over phone and through email
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Reach out to curated, targeted lists of prospects to identify sales opportunities
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to overcome barriers in booking appointments
  • Test new messaging and approaches to improve results (with Sales enablement support)
  • Continuously evaluate how to improve and grow sales development skills
  • Meet aggressive sales targets and KPI’s
  • Positively represent the brand while on the frontlines of customer outreach

What Skills You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree or equivalent coursework in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to use independent judgment to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Highly personable and able to communicate well on the phone and via email
  • Detail oriented and focused on what matters to book the demo
  • Task oriented and driven by meeting deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of sales systems (CRM, Navigator, ZoomInfo etc.)
  • Extremely driven to hit goals

The estimated base salary range for this role is $45,000-50,000/year with an OTE of $66,240-$71,240/year. Commission is earned based on demos booked and completed, closed deals (closed by Sales Executive but prospected by BDR), with additional opportunities for commission above and beyond the target OTE listed. Commission is uncapped. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

Please note: SureCost is currently hiring only in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
