What You’ll Do:

SureCost is seeking a skilled Functional Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in software functional testing practices, developing test plans, and conducting regression testing. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of agile principles to support the continuous improvement of our technology solutions. Experience with pharmacy systems or inventory management systems is a plus.

  • Develop and execute functional test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Conduct regression testing to identify potential issues before software releases.
  • Utilize Postman for API testing and SQL for data validation and verification.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software meets business requirements.
  • Apply agile testing methodologies to support the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Contribute to test automation efforts where applicable.

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong understanding of functional software testing principles and best practices.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans.
  • Proficiency in Postman for API testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying databases and verifying test data.
  • Familiarity with regression testing techniques.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Experience testing applications built with React.
  • Knowledge of LLMs like ChatGPTand related AI tools for analyzing requirements and/or developing test plans.

  • Experience in pharmacy systems or inventory management solutions.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $50,000-65,000/year in addition to an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all of these factors. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

Please note: SureCost is currently hiring only in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
