As a Sales & Retention Manager, you will oversee Account Managers (AMs) and Client Success (CS) associates, driving aggressive revenue growth, eliminating inefficiencies, and leading the charge to maximize LTV and ACV. This is a role for someone who thrives under pressure, pushes the limits, and operates at the intersection of strategic foresight and ruthless execution.
Your Mission: Lead a high-performing team focused on driving revenue, maximizing client value, and achieving hyper-growth. You will shape the strategy for client retention, optimize the MOF cycle, and generate unmatched upsell and cross-sell opportunities that will directly fuel the company’s bottom line. This is not a role for the faint of heart. We expect results, fast execution, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Domination: Own the strategy to expand revenue across existing accounts, maximize ACV, and aggressively pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Your goal: dominate the client space and drive LTV to new heights. You’ll be accountable for results—and they will be significant.
High-Performance Leadership: Lead a team of 10 AMs and CS associates. If you’re not constantly raising the bar, you’re failing. This role demands impeccable leadership—your team will execute your vision, or they won’t survive. There is no room for complacency here.
Escalation Mastery: Handle escalations with precision and authority. You will manage critical, high-value client relationships and resolve issues that others can’t. There’s no room for weakness. You will keep the wheels turning and ensure there’s no drop-off in service during critical moments.
Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Recruiting, HR, Operations, and other business units to ensure smooth execution at scale. You will shape the direction of multiple functions—sales, operations, and client success will bend to your will. You’ll drive alignment across teams to ensure laser focus on results.
Strategic Optimization: Revolutionize the sales process—you will streamline the MOF cycle, increase deal velocity, and optimize margin at every stage. There’s no tolerance for inefficiencies. Every decision should be calculated, executed with precision, and relentlessly focused on scaling faster and smarter.
Data-Driven Decisions: Your decisions will be backed by cold, hard data. You’ll leverage HubSpot and other tools to analyze and adjust strategies. If you can’t produce data-backed, high-ROI strategies, you’re not cutting it here.
Results Reporting: You will report directly to leadership, regularly assessing performance against KPI targets and revenue goals. Your success will be measured in cold, hard numbers— you’re either exceeding expectations, or you’re not. No excuses.
Hiring and Firing: You will have full responsibility for building and shaping your team. This includes making high-stakes hiring decisions to bring in top-tier talent and firing underperformers who fail to meet the high standards you’ve set.
Key Requirements:
Proven Performance:
You’ve delivered results in SaaS, fintech, IT Services, or B2B marketing agencies, scaling client portfolios and driving revenue growth across SMBs.
Your track record includes highly successful upsells, cross-sells, and renewals that transform businesses. You know how to drive ACV and LTV through the roof.
Your leadership has transformed teams—you’ve led diverse groups of junior to senior professionals, pushed them to excel, and delivered results when the stakes are high.
Strategic Expertise:
Master of B2B sales cycles, client success, and the MOF strategy. You’ve mastered how to scale efficiently and you know how to leverage each stage of the funnel for maximum output.
You’re data-obsessed, with a strong grasp of sales metrics like ACV, LTV, and net retention rates. If you can’t measure it, you won’t be able to optimize it.
Strong experience with HubSpot or similar tools. You make data-driven decisions and understand how to extract actionable insights from metrics.
