Role Overview

As an integral member of our Sales team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our market presence in the EMEA region. The primary focus of this role will be on prospecting, identifying key decision-makers, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. The SDR will utilize a combination of research, outreach, and strategic communication to effectively engage prospects and generate qualified leads for our Sales Executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting efforts to generate new sales leads within the aviation industry, primarily targeting airlines, aircraft operators, maintenance organizations, and aviation regulatory agencies.

  • Utilise various channels including email, phone calls, social media, and networking events to initiate contact with potential clients and qualify leads.

  • Research and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations, understanding their pain points, challenges, and business needs.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop targeted messaging and outreach strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Effectively manage and prioritize lead pipelines using CRM software, ensuring timely follow-up and engagement with prospects.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system to track progress and measure performance.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in SaaS or the aviation industry.

  • Proven track record of success in prospecting and lead generation, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.

  • Fluent in English, proficiency in an additional language would be a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with prospects and colleagues.

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for sales and a proactive approach to achieving goals.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot, Pipedrive, Salesforce), Sales Engagement tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in using tools and technologies including AI to increase efficiency and output.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, or industry events as needed.
