Job description
As a Sales Technical Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive the success of sales and customer engagement. You will serve as the primary technical resource for product integrations, collaborating with customers and internal teams to design and implement tailored solutions. By conducting expert discovery sessions to properly assess / size needs; providing expert guidance, troubleshooting challenges, and enabling seamless integrations, you will help foster long-term client relationships, support sales efforts, and ensure optimal use of products. Your contributions will extend to sales enablement, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning to keep the solutions competitive in a very fast paced environment.
Requirements:
- Sales Discovery, Solution Design & Presentations, & Win Fast
Drive success with the sales team by strong discovery & solution design to create technical strategies that align with client needs, driving revenue growth. Lead technical demos, presentations, and workshops for customers, translating complex technical concepts into customer-friendly language. Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and adoption of solutions. Additionally, gather customer feedback to influence product development, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market demands.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal development teams to refine products based on technical feedback and assist in addressing any product gaps. Provide input for marketing teams on creating technical content such as whitepapers and case studies. Act as a liaison between customers and partner organizations, ensuring integration success and alignment of solutions. Support internal training sessions to enable teams to fully understand the technical aspects of products.
- Customer Success Integration:
Collaborate with customer success teams to assist with technical aspects of onboarding, ensuring smooth configuration and deployment. Provide post-sale technical guidance and training to enhance product usage and satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for customers to expand their use of solutions. Partner with customer success to troubleshoot complex technical issues and support upselling efforts.
- Innovation & Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry trends in AI, HR tech, and cloud computing, sharing insights with internal teams and customers. Engage in continuous learning on product offerings to remain an expert in the latest technologies and best practices. Proactively identify areas for innovation within the product and customer engagement strategies, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of offerings.

Timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications are a plus.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud computing, AI/ML, SaaS, and enterprise-level solutions. Familiarity with NVIDIA DGX, IBM AI/cloud products, or similar technologies preferred.
Sales Support Experience: Proven ability to work with sales teams to align technical solutions with customer needs, drive revenue growth, and contribute to closing deals.
Solution Design & Implementation: Experience designing, configuring, and implementing technical solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring scalability and integration with existing systems.
Technical Communication: Ability to conduct product demos, simplify complex concepts, and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
CRM & Tools: Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and tracking progress.
Problem Solving & Collaboration: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfaction.
Experience: 3-7+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar roles in the tech/SaaS industry, with a track record of supporting sales teams and delivering customer value.
Travel: Willingness to travel 10-20% for client meetings and events.
