Job Description
AFRY is seeking a talented and experienced Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and networks, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years of experience in same field or relevant
- Stronge knowledge and hands on experience in programming (python, Go, Java)
- GCP Cloud and Github Actions (CICD)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and security technologises.
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good to have: Knowledge of NIST security framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
