On January 14th, 2025, InductiveHealth and Envision Technology Partners (“Envision”) completed an exciting transaction whereby InductiveHealth (and its private equity partner Diversis) acquired Envision. Envision is a Public Health software development and consulting firm. Since 2001, Envision has been offering an enterprise-level public health product suite as well as custom software development and consulting services to federal, state, and local government agencies around the country and across the globe.

We can currently only hire candidates in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, Texas, and Wisconsin

We are currently seeking a Senior Accessibility Software Engineer for our immunization information system software products to join our expanding national team with headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO. The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who understand 508 compliance and updating software for accessibility purposes. They will possess a desire to help the world be a healthier place to live in and a keen interest in public health technology. This is a contract-to-hire position where once you are converted into a permanent role, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package (medical, dental, vision insurance, long term disability, group life, 401K, etc.), a casual work environment, and flexible PTO. This position reports to: Vice President of Software Development

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and unit test updates to existing application functionality and/or new features and modules within Envision’s product suite
  • Complete user interface tasks primarily using C#, JavaScript, and the .NET framework
  • Complete database tasks using T-SQL and SQL Server 2019+ via EF and/or stored procedures
  • Ensure all web applications meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards
  • Conduct accessibility testing and remediation using tools like AXE, JAWS, and WAVE
  • Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security
  • Include Automated Testing in tools like Jasmine, Jest, Playwright, etc.
  • Generate technical documentation as applicable
  • Provide architectural guidance and development for Web technologies such as Bootstrap, JQuery, Knockout, etc.
  • Work with customers and/or other team members to complete technical design tasks
  • Support system, integration, and end user testing as necessary
  • Collaborate with customers and other team members on ideas, designs, and issues (both technical and non-technical)

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent AND 0-3 years’ experience in the field or related area OR 3-6 years if experience in the field or related area in lieu of degree.  1+ years of native Azure cloud development
  • 5+ years of web application development experience
  • 4+ years of experience with C# and the .NET 4.x and above Framework, .NET core, MVC and WebForms
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and related technologies
  • 3+ years of experience with Client-side technologies, e.g., HTML5, CSS
  • 2+ years of development experience using T-SQL and/or EF
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or later
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or VSCode
  • Hands-on experience with 508 compliance, WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and ARIA roles
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., AXE, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA)
  • Experience in full life cycle process of web application development including technical requirements gathering, documentation, and testing
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design concepts
  • Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
  • Self-starter willing to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to produce high quality work in a timely fashion
  • Ability to quickly understand the existing systems and analyze the system impact of changes
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective spoken and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to learn and keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends

$100,000 - $150,000 a year

Target Salary Bands: Each team member’s compensation decisions are based on several inputs, and we expect many of the candidates who are offered positions to fall within the advertised salary band. We recognize that the team member hired may be less (or more) experienced than the posted job description therefore impacting compensation decisions.

Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged sitting; infrequent to occasional walking or standing. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment deemed necessary for the position. Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds. Ability to work in a normal office environment.

You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Envision Technology Partners’ standard business hours are from 8am to 5pm Mountain Time Monday through Friday, with the exception of the approved Federal Holidays. While staff may have an approved work schedule outside of this timeframe, it is expected that employees will be able to participate in business activities during these hours with the exception of approved leave (e.g., PTO, Holidays, etc.) It may be required occasionally as well for staff to participate in client-driven activities outside of the company’s standard business hours.
