Senior Application Administrator
As a Senior Applications Administrator you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to configure Gainsight CS, ensuring alignment with business objectives, maintaining data accuracy, analyzing trends, and providing innovative solutions to enhance system functionality. This individual thrives on problem solving, has a strong curiosity for emerging technologies, and demonstrates a passion for continuous learning. Additionally, the Senior Application Administrator โ Gainsight supports end-users, drives process optimization, and actively engages with the Gainsight community to provide feedback and stay updated on platform enhancements, ultimately contributing to the success of customer-centric initiatives and long-term business growth.
You will:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Business Systems to gather requirements, translate business objectives into system capabilities, and ensure platform alignment with strategic goals.
Configure and customize Gainsight CS to support customer success workflows, product analytics, and business strategy, ensuring a scalable and user-friendly system design.
Serve as a subject matter expert in Gainsight CS and Customer Success, applying advanced platform knowledge to develop creative solutions and guide best practices.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within the Gainsight platforms.
Proactively evaluate and improve Gainsight CS by exploring new tools, methods, and processes that align with evolving business needs and reflect a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation.
Understand and work on complex issues where analysis of data requires in-depth evaluation, such as identifying trends, usage patterns, and actionable insights.
Partner with Customer Success leadership and stakeholders to maintain customer health metrics and build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making.
Maintains a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning, actively seeking opportunities to explore new technologies that enhance system effectiveness and customer outcomes.
Partner on or lead end-user enablement efforts and change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new Gainsight features or workflows.
Communicate effectively with non-technical end-users, adapting style to drive understanding, encourage adoption, and align messaging with broader company goals.
Design, implement, and streamline customer success processes within Gainsight CS platforms.
Optimize workflows and automate routine tasks to increase operational efficiency.
Provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting to address user queries and issues.
Actively engage with Gainsight through community forums, user groups, and beta programs to stay current on new features, releases, and best practices.
Share insights and feedback with Gainsight to influence product development and advocate for enhancements aligned with MCG user needs and industry trends.
Collaborate with the Gainsight ecosystem to exchange knowledge, contribute to platform innovation, and elevate the overall user experience at MCG.
What Weโre Looking For:
Bachelorโs degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in application administration or supporting enterprise business applications.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Gainsight CS in a customer success or operations environment.
Experience with Salesforce CRM administration and integrations preferred.
Strong understanding of data architecture concepts and system integration across enterprise platforms.
Proficiency in database maintenance, diagnostics, and data cleansing techniques.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, effective application configurations.
Gainsight NXT Admin Certification โ Level 3
Pay Range: $101,550 - $142,170
Other compensatio n: Bonus Eligible

Remote with Occasional Travel (2 โ 3 trips per year)
