Job Summary
You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Backend-based applications and software by analyzing user requirements and defining application functionality. Perform coding, software testing, debugging and troubleshooting tasks.

Job Objectives
- Build and develop high performing, scalable Backend Applications and Interfaces and contribute to all phases of application development lifecycle from designing to testing.
Job Responsibilities
Backend Development & System Architecture
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code following industry best practices.
Implement and manage robust database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure application scalability.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance system functionality.
Code Quality, Performance & Troubleshooting
Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through optimization and performance tuning.
Conduct thorough testing (unit, feature, integration) to ensure code reliability.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Participate in code reviews and write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code while adhering to established architecture and coding standards.
Collaboration, Mentorship & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver new features.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and skill-building.
Stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Licenses & Certifications
- Relevant certifications such as Laravel Certification or PHP Certification
Previous Work Experience
Overall, 6 to 8 years’ experience in PHP development, with 3 years plus in Laravel framework
Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework
Proven experience in developing web applications and APIs.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Skills and Abilities
Basic Database Management skills.
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members.
