What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team, with a strong focus on data pipelines, predictive analytics and dashboarding.

The ideal candidate will join a team that takes full responsibility for designing, developing and maintaining the Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics platform: from designing ETLs and scalable data models to applying advanced statistical and machine learning methods, and building interactive dashboards that drive decision-making across the company.

What will I be doing?

  • Implement and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, consistency and scalability across the BI and Advanced Analytics platforms.
  • Detect and correct errors in our BI Platform and processes in order to guarantee reliability.
  • Translate business requirements into predictive models, dashboards, simulations, and analytical frameworks.
  • Design and implement forecasting solutions (time series, ML-based predictors) to anticipate trends in payment volumes, revenues, and customer behavior.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models into production pipelines.
  • Hands-on analysis, design and development of interactive dashboards and data visualizations that combine descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive insights.
  • Build automated reporting and alerting solutions, integrating predictive and real-time metrics.
  • Ensure timeliness, resilience, availability and accessibility of data.
  • Maintain and extend documentation of BI & ML architecture, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, forecasting techniques, visualization best practices, and ML frameworks.
  • Contribute to the definition of standards and best practices for data science, analytics engineering, and dashboarding.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Product teams to deliver robust predictive and visualization solutions.

What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering / Data Science.
  • Strong expertise in SQL (Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms (AWS / GCP: EMR, Lambda, EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift).
  • Experience with forecasting techniques (ARIMA, Prophet, exponential smoothing, machine learning regressors, deep learning models).
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Statsmodels, PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus).
  • Familiarity with Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Experience with Airflow, DBT, DataHub, Github.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
  • Proven experience building dashboards and data visualizations (Looker, Power BI, Tableau or similar), with ability to translate data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a holistic approach to business and data.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to translate complex user requirements into technical, predictive, and visualization solutions.
  • Curious mindset, ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
