Job description
At NICE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.
So, what’s the role all about?
As a CX-One NetOps Engineer, you’ll focus on building and optimizing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS network infrastructures. You’ll play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of cloud networking that powers our platform and customer connectivity across multiple AWS accounts and regions.
You’ll work closely with Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to implement best practices in automation, security, and performance. While you’ll support hybrid networking and legacy infrastructure as needed, your primary focus will be AWS cloud networking and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
This role is an excellent fit if you’re hands-on, solution-oriented, and ready to deepen your skills in large-scale cloud network environments.
How will you make an impact?
- Contribute to the design and deployment of scalable AWS VPC architectures using Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and PrivateLink
- Support cross-account and multi-region network connectivity and routing
- Collaborate on hybrid networking integration between AWS and on-prem environments using VPNs and Direct Connect
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and change management with Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Build monitoring and visibility tools using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and Athena to support troubleshooting and analytics
- Implement AWS-native security controls like Security Groups, WAF, NACLs, and Shield to protect network resources
- Manage DNS and routing strategies using Route 53, including health checks and routing policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues in production environments
- Partner with senior engineers and architects to evolve our cloud networking strategy
- Take the initiative to research, test, and adopt new AWS features and best practices
Have you got what it takes?
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services: VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, NAT Gateways, ALBs/NLBs
- Solid understanding of cloud network security: IAM roles, WAF, Shield, Security Groups, NACLs
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code workflows
- Scripting ability with Python, Bash, or similar
- Working knowledge of DNS and traffic management using Route 53
- Experience with hybrid connectivity via VPNs and Direct Connect
- Familiarity with multi-account AWS environments (e.g., AWS Organizations, Control Tower)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to real-time production issues
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Associate or Advanced Networking (preferred)
- Clear communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- A growth mindset and curiosity for deepening your AWS expertise
