Senior Data QA Analyst

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data QA Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze and understand, inside and out, all data streams collected, calculated, and attributed by iSpot and coordinate and lead testing efforts with other analysts.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including:
- Analyze and understand, inside and out, all data streams collected, calculated, and attributed by iSpot.
- Coordinate and lead testing efforts with other analysts.
- Design and implement testing plans for products.
- Build data monitoring and test automation tools using either Python or Java.
- Conduct peer reviews on other team members’ code and provide feedback to junior and mid-level analysts’ SQL and Java/Python code.
- Conduct root cause analyses and investigate production data issues while collaborating with other teams.
- Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.
- Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
- Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
- Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations.
- Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product’s efficiency.
- Mentor, train, and operate as a technical subject matter expert and thought leader for junior and mid-level analysts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business with a major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 4 years of experience as a Senior Data QA Analyst, Advanced Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar duties under a different job title.
- Experience to include:
- At least 3 years with the following: SQL; Snowflake; Redshift; process automation and improvement; Python; Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mode Analytics, or OBIEE; data pipelines’ implementation and validation; AWS or equivalent; data storytelling and presentation; test planning, feedback, and execution; Agile/Scrum development processes.
- 2 years using the statistical and machine learning models.
- 1 year using automated testing tools.
- 1 year of project management experience.
Salary range: $126,090 to $142,010 annually
Worksite: 15831 NE 8th St., Ste 100, Bellevue, WA 98008 with the option to work from a home office located anywhere in the U.S.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy
iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency.
Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA; El Segundo, CA; New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule.
