Job description
At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers. We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that’s where you come in:
The Sr. Manager of Global Email Marketing will lead the strategic planning and execution of customer and partner email marketing programs across the globe. In this role, you’ll own the global email marketing calendar, manage stakeholder relationships across teams, and build a high-performing team of email marketers. With a deep understanding of marketing automation platforms like Marketo and CRM systems like Salesforce, you’ll drive lifecycle engagement and nurture campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
We’re on the hunt for the kind of person who dreams in subject lines and wakes up with A/B test results on your mind. You treat email like an art form—part science, part storytelling, part digital wizardry. You speak fluent Marketo, understand the dark magic of Salesforce workflows, and can spot a broken UTM from 40 paces. You know that timing is everything, and you’d rather skip lunch than let an email go out without proper QA (we’ve all been burned by a rogue “Hi [FirstName]”). You have a sixth sense for when stakeholders are going to “just have one little change,” and a Jedi-like ability to manage them with grace. You’re not just building campaigns—you’re building a team, a system, a scalable, metrics-crushing email empire. And if anyone dares call email a “dead channel,” you’ll calmly hit them with a 14-slide deck of open rate trends, click-through stats, and a few lovingly annotated screenshots.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
