Job description

Who We Are

Welcome to TELUS Digital — where innovation drives impact at a global scale. As an award-winning digital product consultancy and the digital division of TELUS, one of Canada’s largest telecommunications providers, we design and deliver transformative customer experiences through cutting-edge technology, agile thinking, and a people-first culture. With a global team across North America, South America, Central America, Europe, and APAC, we offer end-to-end expertise across eight core service areas: Digital Product Consulting, Digital Marketing Services, Data & AI, Strategy Consulting, Business Operations Modernization, Enterprise Applications, Cloud Engineering, and QA & Test Engineering. We help organizations modernize their enterprise systems by leveraging world-class platforms like ServiceNow, SAP, and Salesforce—enabling seamless, intelligent, and scalable operations at enterprise scale.

Location & Flexibility

Our Enterprise Applications Solutions Architects are key contributors to the success of enterprise transformation programs. This role will prioritize candidates able to maintain an in-office presence in a hybrid capacity (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Locations include Boston, MA; Charlottesville, VA; or Durham, NC. We are also open to candidates based remotely in the U.S.

The Opportunity

As an Enterprise Applications Solutions Architect, you will drive innovation and transformation through the design and implementation of complex enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce. You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners, and clients to architect scalable solutions that modernize legacy systems, automate workflows, and improve enterprise efficiency. This is a pivotal role blending pre-sales support, technical leadership, and strategic consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, pain points, and system environments

  • Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions using ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce (based on area of expertise)

  • Translate business needs into detailed system requirements, solution designs, and integration plans

  • Support sales efforts by creating compelling proposals, demos, and proof-of-concepts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, project management) to ensure alignment and feasibility

  • Drive data and systems integration across ERP, CRM, ITSM, HR, and Finance ecosystems

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending best practices for platform usage, configuration, and extensibility

  • Stay current with platform roadmaps, trends, and emerging capabilities to inform architecture decisions

  • Mentor junior consultants and engineers in platform capabilities and enterprise application design

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise applications consulting, or platform implementation

  • Deep expertise in one or more enterprise platforms: ServiceNow, SAP (S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, etc.), or Salesforce (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud, etc.)

  • Strong grasp of enterprise system design, including workflow automation, data modeling, integrations, and API usage

  • Proven ability to lead large-scale implementation and transformation programs

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development practices

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to enterprise-level challenges

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Bonus Points

  • Platform certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, Salesforce Application Architect, SAP Certified Solution Architect)

  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., telecom, finance, healthcare) and related compliance standards

  • Knowledge of agile delivery methods, enterprise change management, and DevOps integration

  • Familiarity with middleware, data lakes, and enterprise reporting tools

  • Experience migrating from legacy systems (e.g., Siebel, PeopleSoft, Remedy) to cloud-native platforms
