Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Salesforce Technical Manager to lead the design,
development, and implementation of scalable and high-performance Salesforce solutions. This role is
responsible for providing architectural guidance across all Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud,
Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications built on the Salesforce Platform.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, data
modeling, and system design, enabling effective alignment of Salesforce capabilities with business
objectives. Collaboration with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and third-party partners is
essential to ensure the optimization of the Salesforce platform for performance, security, and scalability.
This role demands significant technical acumen and the ability to mentor and guide development teams
towards excellence.
Primary Duties
- This role will work directly with the project team and business. Responsible for tracking the enterprise portfolio and driving project teams in shaping consistent architecture across the Salesforce platform.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions across various clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and custom applications. The role also requires definition, documentation, roadmap for current and future states, and resolves technical issues in areas of ownership.
- Mentor development teams and provide technical support and quality assurance throughout all project stages, addressing technical challenges as they arise. Define and document architectural designs, build plans, release strategies, and technical specifications to ensure adherence to standards and governance processes
- Manage integrations with upstream downstream systems and with third-party services and ensure compliance with data governance policies during implementation phases.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of Salesforce Developer/Architect experience
- Salesforce Admin, Sr. Admin, Developer, Platform, Application Architect certifications (Preferred)

- Defines systems architecture and specifications to align with company needs and future growth
- Leads planning, evaluation, and selection of tech solutions, tools, and integration methods.
- Owns leading and solving technical problems when they arise
- Guides project teams to design architectures aligned with platforms, roadmaps, and standards.
- Monitors systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
- Leads, develops and implements plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support
- Communicates requirements, supports implementation, and resolves technical issues.
- Provides leadership in the change control process aligned with policies and procedures
- Leads change control processes, documentation efforts, and compliance enforcement.
- Experience with database design concepts, middleware concepts, and user interface development
- Experience with 3rd Party integrations and popular AppExchange offerings

- Experience with custom development concepts such as flows, apex, triggers and web services in order to guide the Developers on your project team to implement your designs
- Experience in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, Force.com IDE, SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML, JSON, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience utilizing development frameworks and libraries, such as the Lightning Component Framework, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and jquery, or equivalent.
- Proficient in Salesforce tools, DevOps practices, and modern development frameworks.
