ABOUT THE SEO MANAGER ROLE:
We are seeking an SEO Manager to join our growing team who could align with the company’s goals, understand SEO objectives, and develop strategies and execution plan to increase the organic search rankings and drive relevant organic traffic to the websites through various sources. He/She will be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for content creation and distribution to various publishers to acquire high-quality backlinks. Also, will be responsible for analyzing analytics and provide optimization suggestions on technical, off-page, and local SEO front.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand the business model, company’s goals, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) objectives.
- Develop strategy and execution plan to acquire backlinks to positively impact organic rankings.
- Perform keyword research aligned to objectives to optimize existing content and create new content outlines.
- Develop strategy and execution plan for local SEO for B2B and B2C businesses.
- Reach out to bloggers/publishers to publish content on their platforms and acquire high-quality backlinks.
- Coordinate with the development team to ensure best SEO practices are implemented on the developed code.
- Identify and implement strategies for increasing website traffic through organic search listings.
- Improve local search traffic through best local SEO practices.
- Review UI/UX and provide optimization suggestions to increase organic rankings.
- Work with content team for content creation and distribution.
- Forecast traffic and rankings through SEO and develop tracking mechanism to track the milestones.
- Measure the performances on various relevant metrics including traffic, keyword ranking, technical parameters, user engagements, and user behaviour.
- Analyse the performance on these metrics and provide data-driven suggestions to increase the rankings and traffic through website and local listings.
- Keep up to date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in technical knowledge on site migration, in-depth actionable technical audit, rich snippet audit and optimization, back link audit etc.
- Ability to make code-related SEO recommendations & derive SEO strategies.
- Should be able to forecast traffic and ranking through SEO.
- Must be able to create and update content/meta dynamically without duplicate content issue.
- Experience or understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in technical, off-page, and local SEO.
- UG/PG in technical background (Engineering/MCA Graduate).
- Certification on Google Analytics is a bonus.
