Job description
Gambling.com Group (Nasdaq: GAMB) is a multi-award winning provider of marketing and sports data services looking for exceptional talent interested in the fast-paced, high-growth online gambling industry. The company operates a portfolio of renowned websites and brands – including flagship site Gambling.com and sports betting site Bookies.com as well as iGaming-focused sites Casinos.com, BonusFinder.com and UK-centric Freebets.com. In the U.S., the company operates state-specific websites such as NewYorkBets.com, BetCarolina.com, and BetArizona.com, helping consumers discover and connect with legal gambling options.
In addition to its marketing operations, Gambling.com Group provides sports data services through consumer subscription platforms like OddsJam and RotoWire, along with B2B services through OpticOdds. These offerings deliver real-time data, actionable insights, and technology driven tools to both consumers and enterprise partners.
As the first and only online gambling affiliate publicly traded in the U.S., Gambling.com Group has earned recognition as a leader in its field – most recently winning Casino Affiliate of the Year at the 2024 EGR Operator Awards. Gambling.com Group embraces a majority remote-first hybrid work model, offering employees the flexibility to work remotely while being part of a global team. For some roles, in-office presence is required for operational reasons, ensuring seamless collaboration and effectiveness where needed.
With flagship offices in Dublin, Charlotte, and Malta, and satellite offices in Madison, Helsinki, Serbia, and Costa Rica, we operate on a “think local, act global” mindset. Gambling.com Group is on the lookout for innovative, solution-driven, and fast-paced thinkers to join our growing team.
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will shape the visual and interaction experience of flagship brands including WhichBingo.co.uk (focused on bingo, slots, and casino) and Freebets.com (primarily sports, supported by casino offerings). Your work goes far beyond crafting elegant interfaces — you will define how users perceive trust, authority, and expertise across our network of sites, ensuring our platforms stand out in a competitive industry.
We do not follow trends — we set them. We want to be the benchmark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process for new feature rollouts, conversion-optimised landing pages, and campaign-driven marketing experiences across our brands.
- Translate our brand principles into consistent and confident UI patterns that support clear information delivery and build user trust, especially in highly regulated and decision-critical spaces like comparing bingo, sports betting, and casino sites.
- Own, evolve, and document UI systems (Figma and related design libraries) to ensure a consistent and scalable design language across all touchpoints.
- Partner with analysts and stakeholders to understand user behaviour, blending qualitative research with quantitative data to create seamless journeys.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, content strategy, product, engineering, and commercial teams to build experiences that are both user-first and business savvy.
- Drive A/B and multivariate design testing across everything from single components to full page experiences, using both user insight and performance data to inform and inspire. Every test should be designed not just to improve conversion and retention, but to deepen user confidence in our guidance. Whether refining a banner layout or launching a new comparison flow, your goal is to ensure our design language signals clarity, authority, and professionalism — helping users feel that they are in the right place with the right experts.
- Produce pixel-perfect mockups, interactive prototypes, and design ready assets across multiple platforms such as web, email, social, and promotional banners, all aligned with brand tone and strategic goals.
- Be the brand guardian, applying typography, spacing, colour theory, motion, and accessibility best practices to every output.
- Use AI tools creatively to generate and refine illustrations, concepts, and visual assets, while continuously experimenting with new workflows using Photoshop, Illustrator, and cutting-edge AI-enhanced design platforms to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in UI and UX, affiliate marketing, online gaming platforms, and comparison websites to ensure our design leadership is felt by users, partners, and competitors alike.
- Champion design thinking across the business, helping teams adopt user centred practices and build better products from the ground up.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating digital products, web experiences, and marketing design work.
- Expertise in Figma, with knowledge of design systems/component libraries, prototyping, and user journeys.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, content strategy, product, engineering, and commercial teams to build experiences that are both user-first and business savvy.
- Experience driving A/B and multivariate design testing across everything from single components to full page experiences, using both user insight and performance data to inform and inspire.
- Familiar with pixel-perfect mockups, interactive prototypes, and design ready assets across multiple platforms such as web, email, social, and promotional banners, all aligned with brand tone and strategic goals.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent —to generate and refine illustrations, concepts, and visual assets, while continuously experimenting with new workflows using Photoshop, Illustrator, and cutting-edge AI-enhanced design platforms to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency.
What Success Looks Like:
- Our sites — particularly WhichBingo and Freebets.com — are undeniably trustworthy and expert in the eyes of users.
- Design output reinforces our authority across every touchpoint, from a homepage hero to terms and conditions links.
- Users find the information they want quickly, engage more deeply, and return because they trust our recommendations.
- Our competitors treat our UX and design standards as benchmarks.
- You lead a culture of curiosity, iteration, and insight-driven design across the entire product lifecycle.
