We are looking for a Native Spanish SEO Content Editor to work across our Gambling.com Group websites with a focus on editing and publishing high quality content and data. The person in this role should be responsible for the sourcing, management, and retention of suitable freelancer writers for our website platforms including quality control, SEO analysis, ideation and reporting to stakeholders on results.

This role sits within our LATAM and Spanish Content Team but consistently works cross-functionally with our product sales, design, marketing teams to create the perfect user experience and remain aligned with core company goals. Proficiency in English is therefore essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, expert-level content (e.g., casino reviews, betting strategies, slot guides, tailored to target audiences and platform formats for Spanish-language Latin American markets.
  • Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle, including ideation, scheduling, production, and publishing, ensuring alignment with business goals, KPIs, and seasonal trends.
  • Optimise content for SEO and user experience without compromising voice, trust, or readability.
  • Distribute content across multiple channels (web, email, video, etc.) to maximise visibility, engagement, and value.
  • Utilise tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, Google Analytics, and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Co-Pilot) to inform content strategy and performance.
  • Analyse content performance and competitor activity to inform strategy, improve rankings, and adapt to market and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (SEO, Product, UX, Brand, AdOps) and stakeholders to maintain consistency, compliance, and brand alignment.
  • Edit and publish content in the CMS, optimising on-page elements for SEO best practices.
  • Manage, brief, and motivate freelance writers to maintain high editorial standards, tone, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee freelancer budget and resources, report on output and KPIs, and implement process improvements where needed.

Requirements:

  • Native Spanish speaker, and a flawless writer and communicator with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the LATAM igaming markets, such as Mexico and Peru, for instance.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience with HTML, Content Management Systems and Digital Publishing.
  • Knowledgeable of SEO techniques and best practices.
  • Proven experience as an SEO Editor in the iGaming environment, particularly with casino topics.
  • Experience in content planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing online content.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, UX and UE.

Desirable Skills:

  • Journalistic background.
  • Knowledgeable of conversion-oriented copywriting tactics.
  • Experience with common SEO and digital marketing tools e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Proficient in integrating AI tools into daily activities.
