Valon’s Compliance team is a growing, fast-paced team with a goal of building a mortgage servicing platform that both empowers mortgage servicing and MLOs to focus on providing exceptional services and also delivers a phenomenally transparent product experience to homeowners. As a Servicing Compliance Analyst at Valon, you will own the compliance support functions for Valon’s servicing business area.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Servicing Compliance Analyst to join our Legal Risk Compliance team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our business partners in Servicing to drive the compliance functions of the loan administration operations, including spearheading highly complex quality control audits as needed and ensuring compliance with all state and federal servicing rules.

Responsibilities
- Own and become the servicing expert of all RESPA requirements
- Understand and assist loan administration by maintaining and overseeing Valon’s servicing fee schedule and document library
- Spearhead ad hoc audits as necessary
- Perform targeted compliance testing as needed
- Assist on maintaining Valon’s Loan Quality Queue
Ideal Background
- To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience
- Experience with the Jira preferred, but not required
- Understand servicing rules
- You can own the administrator role for FHA Connection and VA’s Valeri systems

This Base Compensation pay range applies to our New York City located staff and may differ according to location.
New York Base Compensation Pay Range
$72,000—$95,000 USD
