Position Overview
We are now looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join us and be part of the team responsible for improving and scaling the infrastructure powering Dealfront.
Keeping our services fast, reliable, and secure is one of the key parts of how we succeed every day helping thousands of our customers using our platform.
Infrastructure as Code and Automation is at the core of what we do. You’ll work to enable and support our product and engineering teams to spin up, maintain and monitor the necessary infrastructure they need to run their applications and services.
As part of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you’ll get the opportunity to work and develop your skills in a varied range of technologies we use such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Ansible and from Amazon Web Services (where our infrastructure resides): Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis or Aurora, to name a few.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain our automated Cloud infrastructure on AWS for Kubernetes and Serverless applications.
Enhance infrastructure and application monitoring using tools like VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Loki, AWS CloudWatch and NewRelic.
Support engineering teams with deploying and maintaining their services on our cloud infrastructure.
Analyze our infrastructure platform for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in light on-call rotation and oversee our incident response process.
2+ years experience working on infrastructure and related services..
Experience operating production-grade web and intensive processing applications
Experience working on cloud infrastructure and related services (Amazon Web Services is a plus)
Experience with Kubernetes or AWS ECS, and related technologies such as Istio or Helm.
Experience with Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Linux server administration
Programming skills (e.g. Python, Golang, Ruby)
Good teamwork and solid communication skills in English
Capability to work remotely
Be physically located in European timezones
Nice to have:
Experience managing databases, both relational (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience managing non-relational databases (e.g. AWS DynamoDB, Cassandra, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch)
Experience operating Serverless applications, such as AWS Lambda
