We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Python programming with an emphasis on generative AI technologies. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement reporting features for our web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate reporting requirements into technical specifications and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices. Your work will directly impact the evolution of our software products, enhancing the way the real estate industry leverages data and insights for better decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement reporting features and modules within web applications using Python.
- Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions for internal business operations.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define reporting requirements and technical specifications.
- Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient Python code that meets industry standards.
- Develop automated tests to ensure the reliability and accuracy of reporting functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting component issues, optimizing performance and user experience.
- Work with frontend and backend engineers to integrate reporting features seamlessly into the application architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in reporting technologies and Python frameworks.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and reporting-related processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with a strong emphasis on PHP.
- Experience in Python, Generative AI tools
- Experience with a test framework for test-driven development and automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for creating high-quality software solutions.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience developing and optimizing reporting features within web applications.
- Familiarity with Python frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django).
- Familiarity with distributed systems (e.g., Celery)
- Familiarity with AI processes (e.g., RAG, MCP)
- Understanding of database systems (e.g., Postgres) and SQL queries for retrieving and processing data for reporting.
- Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Terraform)
$88,000 - $139,000 a year
This band covers the full salary range for the role. Your offer within this range will depend on factors like experience, skills, and internal equity.

Currently, Entrata hires in Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Tennessee for Exempt roles and Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida for Non-Exempt roles.
