Job description
Ilir Sela started Slice with the belief that local pizzerias deserve all of the advantages of major franchises without compromising their independence. Starting with his family’s pizzerias, we now empower over tens of thousands of restaurants with the technology, services, goods and collective power that owners need to better serve their digitally minded customers and build lasting businesses. We’re growing and adding more talent to help fulfill this valuable mission. That’s where you come in.
The Challenge to Solve
Buying affordable, high quality supplies is one of the biggest challenges facing local independent restaurants today; they pay higher prices than franchises and often must use outdated systems to place & receive their orders. Slice’s “The Goods” seeks to solve this challenge by empowering local pizzeria owners to order high-quality supplies at unmatched prices, on demand, in just a few clicks.
The Role
As the “ Supply Planning & Procurement Manager”, you’ll be responsible for making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time - ensuring our supply chain supports the growth and reliability of The Goods.
You’ll build and manage the supply plan across a multi-node network, turning forecasts into actionable purchase plans and transfer orders, tracking supplier performance, and resolving disruptions before they impact our pizzeria partners. From demand signals to outbound deliveries, you’ll have visibility across the full supply picture.
The Team
You’ll be part of Slice’s growing Supply Chain team and report directly to the Head of Supply Chain. You’ll collaborate daily with teammates across logistics, customer experience, demand planning, and with our external supplier partners to turn plans into execution.
We’re a collaborative, hands-on team that takes pride in what we’re building. Everyone rolls up their sleeves and we’re looking for someone who’s excited to do the same.
The Winning Recipe
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented supply chain professional who can take ownership of planning and procurement in a fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can turn forecasts into action, solve problems quickly, and collaborate across teams to ensure product availability.
These are the core competencies this role calls for:
- Has strong experience in supply planning and inventory management- preferably in CPG, food & beverage, or fast-moving consumer goods.
- Brings a hands-on approach: you know how to move between data, tools, and supplier calls to keep things on track and avoid surprises.
- Understands how to turn forecasts into real-time supply strategies across multi-location networks
- Has experience with PO placement, follow-up, and basic vendor management
- Is analytical and detail-oriented but fast-moving and focused on outcomes
- Brings curiosity, urgency, and a problem-solving mindset to everyday challenges
The Extras Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the unexpected highlights:
- Flexible PTO
- Market leading medical, vision and dental insurance
- 401K matching up to 4%
- Personal development & wellness reimbursement/stipend
- Weekly pizza stipend (Yes, that’s a thing!)
Salary Range: $110-$140K + benefits.
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
