Job Description
Main areas of responsibility:
- Lead and manage a General Accounting (GA) team of 8–13 people, including planning, organizing, and monitoring daily operations
- Ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting regulations
- Provide technical and operational support to team members in day-to-day activities
- Drive continuous process improvements and support the implementation of initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- A university degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Prior experience in leading or managing a team
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience in managing finance and accounting processes
- SAP knowledge (FI/CO modules) — a strong plus
- Experience in an international, multicultural environment (preferably SSC/BPO)
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
