iDesign is currently looking for a UX/UI Design Intern. This is a part-time, hourly, 1099 contract position. 10 or more hours per week of daytime and weekday availability needed.

What You’ll Do
As a UX/UI Design Intern, you’ll work closely with the design team to create user-friendly, visually consistent interfaces for digital tools, marketing materials, and data visualizations. This hands-on role offers the chance to collaborate with others and contribute to real projects that improve the user experience and support our brand goals.
The successful candidate will work remotely on a contract basis.
You will:
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web applications.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and final development-ready designs to communicate design concepts, incorporating feedback from the design team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve the user experience.
- Conduct accessibility audits and implement necessary adjustments to enhance user accessibility.
- Adhere to the existing design system and assist in updating, organizing, and maintaining design components and documentation to ensure project consistency.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Learning Opportunities
- Receive mentorship and feedback from an experienced UX/UI Designer.
- Gain experience by contributing to projects that support user experience, data visualization, and brand design.
- Learn how to apply user research and usability feedback to create more effective design solutions.
- Participate in real-world design workflows from concept to implementation.
