About the Role:
CALSTART is seeking an individual who will execute content updates across multiple websites managed by CALSTART’s web team, learning to collaborate with UI/UX designers, front & backend developers, and marketing teams. Before the end of the internship, this candidate will have developed at least one deliverable with the guidance of the web team, this can be a back-end element, a landing page, or something with a similar level of complexity depending on the intern’s interests and available work.
What You’ll Do:
- Execution of content updates for: californiahvip.org, californiacore.org, electricschoolbusnetwork.org, zeroemissiontrucks.org, calfleetadvisor.org, cleantransitnetwork.org, chargeatwork.org, ridecleanmass.org, massfleetadvisor.org, calstart.org
- Collaborate with web team on landing page development, wireframe reviews, and other web-development related tasks
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Proficiency in front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with WordPress development and GitHub
- Communicating complex topics to non-SMEs, attention to detail

- Student or recent associate/bachelor’s graduate in Web Design, Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar.
$16 - $21 an hour
CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $16-$21/hr. Pay is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity, and other factors relevant to the job.
