Title: Independent Contractor – CPT-10399 Healthcare Business Support Virtual Assistant/Business Support VA/Junior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Business Support Virtual Assistant to help a solo practitioner in Dental Sleep Medicine with daily operations. The role is a critical support function to help grow the practice through effective communication, appointment setting, patient follow-ups, lead generation, and administrative coordination.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • Make outbound cold calls to potential referral sources such as sleep doctors, primary care providers, physical therapists, etc., to promote the practice’s services.
  • Generate, build, and manage an email list of leads from referral sources.
  • Conduct follow-ups with patients to answer frequently asked questions and assist with treatment progression.
  • Monitor and manage the practice’s inbox, respond to patient queries, and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain accurate call records and lead information in the system.
  • Research local organizations or businesses for potential partnerships and outreach opportunities.
  • Help organize information for billing and coordinate with the client’s existing medical billing support.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • At least 2 years of administrative or business support experience (healthcare background strongly preferred).
  • Experience with cold calling and navigating gatekeepers professionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Gmail, Google Docs, and basic CRM tools.
  • Background in healthcare, nursing, physical therapy, sleep medicine, or a related field is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and handling sensitive patient data with discretion.

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: TBD EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
