Production Junior Digital Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We seek a collaborative Production / Junior Digital Designer to partner with designers, developers, and project teams to contribute to the overall design vision. The Designer will create, optimize, and prepare graphics for websites and digital marketing channels. Our ideal designer has a delightful graphic and design sensibility and an exceptional eye for detail. Theyโ€™re enthusiastic about collaborating with a dynamic team of talented folks to bring projects to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you’ll get to…

  • interpret project briefs and take the initiative to ask clarifying questions when needed
  • work with project managers to meet deadlines and communicate project progress
  • collaborate with creative directors, designers, and developers
  • assist with design tasks like resizing layouts for different screen sizes or editing designs based on internal and client feedback
  • prepare and optimize images for the web which may include resizing, retouching, compressing, or converting file types
  • create original iconography or work with existing libraries to create a consistent and cohesive icon library
  • ensure brand consistency in colors, fonts, and production quality
  • finalize artwork and address or troubleshoot any production issues as they arise
  • update component libraries as designs evolve and communicate changes to relevant teams
  • perform thorough quality assurance checks on designs to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines before final delivery
  • help create presentations in PowerPoint or Google Slides

REQUIREMENTS:

On day one, we’ll expect you to…

  • have a minimum of 1 year of graphic design training required
  • have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on graphic design production experience required
  • have an agency experience is a plus
  • have a good productivity and high-quality work
  • must be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
  • have a thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required
  • must be proficient in Figma
  • have the ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines
  • have a good eye for type, style, and detail
  • have a creative flair with the ability to conceptualize and visualize the finished product
  • have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
  • be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
  • be a current resident of the Philippines, and can perform work from there
  • be willing to work in the US Pacific time zone or the client’s time zone
