Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- ISTQB Foundation Level (FL) certification (required)
Experience
- Proven experience in both Automation Testing and Manual Testing
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Technical Skills
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for:
- Web-based applications
- Proprietary design tools
Experience with automation tools such as:
- UI Testing: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
- API Testing: Postman, REST Assured
Proficiency in programming languages (preferably C# or Python)
Basic understanding of non-functional testing (usability, performance, security) (plus)
Responsibilities
Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and engineers to identify high-impact test cases for automation
Select and implement appropriate automation tools and frameworks
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and Release Architect
Perform testing for CAD-like user interfaces and configuration workflows
Conduct:
- Exploratory testing
- Regression testing
- Cross-application integration testing
Investigate, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
Generate and update test reports based on execution results
Maintain organized records of test cases and results
Provide guidance and share automation best practices with manual QA team
