Agoric, founded in 2018, is a blockchain product company focused on software development. We build cross-chain applications using our Orchestration platform. Our goal is to turn complex crypto workflows into automated, easy-to-use actions for power users and developers.

Orchestration allows developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) that coordinate assets and services across multiple blockchains. This platform integrates protocols and liquidity from the multi-chain ecosystem to improve the Web3 experience. Orchestration’s features include Async & Multi-Block support for long-running processes that operate across chains without immediate execution, Timers for automated future actions, and Interoperability with native IBC and Axelar GMP support. We connect with various chains and services, including DYDX, Osmosis, Skip, Axelar, UX, Union, Stride, and Cosmos.

For users, Agoric enables smooth, one-click interactions across multiple chains, improving their Web3 experience. For developers, we provide tools for cross-chain programmability and multi-block execution to build advanced applications. Agoric operates a Proof-of-Stake chain featuring composable smart contracts in JavaScript, giving JavaScript developers tools to build secure decentralized finance (DeFi) applications on-chain. We are developing Ymax, a DeFi command center designed to clarify complex DeFi opportunities, offer AI-driven optimizations, and simplify workflows across multiple networks with a single signature. In late 2021, Agoric raised an additional $50 million through a public token sale. Fast USDC transfers from EVM to Cosmos are supported via Noble Express in under one minute.

Agoric is a remote-first company with about 20 members, founded in 2018. Our team consists of dedicated and curious individuals with decades of experience in distributed systems, smart contracts, and open-source innovation. Many employees have joined us from Web2 roles. Our distributed team includes individuals from organizations such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla, Time Warner Cable, Xerox PARC, the Free Software Foundation, Deluxe Financial Services, Uber, the IETF, and the World Wide Web Consortium. We also collaborate with teams at Cosmos, Zcash, and MetaMask. Our founders and early hires have strong backgrounds in computer science and Web3, having contributed to the development of computational markets, JSON, modern asynchronous promise objects, and early concepts in smart contracts. Agoric operates as an open-source software startup.
