At AKQA, our Experience Design discipline sets the standard for innovation, creativity, and craft. As a Senior Experience Designer, you’ll help define the next generation of courageous digital experiences, how they work, why they matter, and the impact they deliver for users and brands alike.
In this role, you’ll design rich, playful interfaces that feel premium and unmistakably on-brand. You’ll bring clarity to complexity, combining empathy with logic, curiosity with rigour, and creativity with precision.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Design polished, immersive UI that feels polished, high quality and considered.
- Elevate standard user flows through strong visual craft.
- Produce prototypes that clearly communicate motion, transitions and micro-interactions.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma to ensure consistency across large products.
- Design for multiple states and edge cases.
- Apply iOS and Android standards, balancing native patterns with purposeful custom UI.
- Ensure the experience translates across mobile, mobile web and desktop.
- Design with accessibility in mind.
QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS
- Portfolio demonstrating high-craft, game-like UI and premium moments of celebration.
- Strong prototyping and motion skills such as Rive, Lottie and/or After Effects preferred.
- Advanced capability building structured component libraries in Figma.
- Deep understanding of iOS and Android UI patterns.
- Clear focus on usability and accessibility in visually complex interfaces.
