About the Role

As a bilingual Solutions Engineer, you will support AlayaCare’s strategic growth initiatives in Canada with an exclusive responsibility for all opportunities in Quebec. Partnering closely with Account Executives and Regional Directors, you will lead discovery, solution design, and French-language demo opportunities across health authorities and providers, while remaining adaptable to support other business areas as needed over time.

You will translate customer needs into value-driven solutions across core workflows (scheduling, billing, payroll) and advanced capabilities such as Connector, AI features, and Client Intelligence Suite. The role also includes supporting business cases, SOW development, and key public sector events. This is a high-priority, high-impact role designed for fast ramp and immediate contribution,  with a strong preference for an internal candidate due to knowledge of the AlayaCare product; external candidates with sufficient knowledge and experience may be considered.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver impactful, value-driven product demonstrations and assessments that show prospects how AlayaCare addresses their specific challenges, not just product features.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research on home and community-based service delivery in different markets to deepen understanding and inform solution design.

  • Collaborate with Strategic Accounts and Account Managers to identify and support conversion, upsell and renewal opportunities.

  • Work closely with Regional Directors (RDs) and Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to gather insights and context, and contribute to effective messaging and market strategies.

  • Partner with Marketing on market-specific collateral (website content, videos, promotional materials) that reflects our value proposition.

  • Produce and maintain clear documentation, including use cases and technical specifications, to support both internal teams and customer clarity.

  • Support the development and completion of Statements of Work (SOWs) for prospects, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on scope and project details.

  • Support Senior Solutions Engineers on RFPs, RFIs, special projects and key presentations by contributing research, insights and tailored content.

  • Engage directly with clients and internal teams to understand customer requirements, provide tailored recommendations, and ensure comprehensive product support.

  • Present and advocate for your work with stakeholders across the organization, actively seeking feedback to refine and improve outputs.

  • Stay current on the SaaS healthcare product landscape, competitor developments and market trends to inform strategic positioning.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bilingual in French and English is required, with demonstrated experience supporting customer-facing engagements in both languages.

  • 2–3 years of experience in a solutions engineering, sales, or customer-facing role, ideally in SaaS or healthcare technology.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.Comm., or equivalent) in a related field of study.

  • Proven ability to present and communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, understand and clearly communicate AlayaCare’s products and their application in operational settings.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of mapping customer needs to clear, value-driven solutions.

  • Experience with RFP responses and technical proposal preparation is an asset.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable owning multiple projects and deadlines in parallel.

  • Familiarity with SOW development, CRM tools such as HubSpot, and platforms like Zoma, Retool, and Make.com is an asset.

  • A genuine passion for healthcare technology and SaaS innovation, with a proactive approach to staying informed on industry and competitive trends.

Location and Work Model

This role is based in the Greater Montreal Area. At AlayaCare, our hybrid model includes set in-office collaboration days, and it is expected that team members are present in the office on those days to foster connection, innovation, and teamwork.
