**This is a REMOTE or HYBRID position (1-2 days in office) located in New York, NY or Nashville, TN. Remote Candidates will be required to work EST or CST time zones**
What we are looking for:
The Manager, Digital Media will be responsible for managing and optimizing paid media campaigns across major digital advertising platforms, including paid search, paid social, and programmatic, as applicable to client needs. This role oversees the day-to-day performance of client accounts, contributes to paid media strategy, and manages a small team of direct reports. This a hands-on platform role that also includes client management and team management.
The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with growing leadership experience who can manage campaigns independently, support junior team members, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to drive performance.
What you will be doing:
- Develop/contribute to and implement paid media strategies across multiple platforms
- Build and manage complex campaigns, including dynamic ads and other scalable media structures aligned to longer consideration cycles and multi-touch journeys
- Set up and manage testing methodologies to optimize new campaign structures, bid strategies, creatives, and other elements before scaling.
- Oversee the media budget allocation and ensure efficient use of spend to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Report regularly on campaign performance, providing actionable insights, and recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize campaigns for ROI, engagement, and other key KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and account management, to align media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
- Advise clients on best practices, strategies, and emerging trends in paid search and digital advertising.
- Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 paid search specialists, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
- Prioritize and manage team efforts and resources to exceed client deliverables.
- Project manage complex campaign tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Build and standardize processes for campaign execution, optimization, and reporting to ensure operational efficiency.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in paid search and digital advertising.
Who you are:
- 4–6 years of experience working in digital advertising, preferably within a performance marketing agency or in-house marketing team
- 4-6 years of strong hands-on experience managing paid search (Google/Bing) campaigns; experience with paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit) and/or programmatic advertising is required as applicable to account scope
- 1-2 years of experience managing and developing a team of 1-3 people.
- Prior experience overseeing or mentoring junior team members; formal people management experience is a plus
- Proven ability to manage campaigns independently and optimize performance based on data and insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations
- Effective communicator with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to prioritize and allocate resources to meet client expectations and deliverables.
- Exceptional project management skills with experience managing complex tasks with conflicting priorities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with enterprise-level clients preferred
- Experience with B2B preferred
